I’m obsessed with sorting through the details. Since 2010, I’ve been About.com’s expert on personal organizing and productivity and in that time, I’ve helped over a million readers declutter their homes and simplify their lives. Whether it’s a too-small closet or a too-large to-do list, I’m here to help you minimize your stress by finding balance and simplicity in your life and at home.
I spent my twenties and the early part of my thirties completely frazzled with only coffee to keep me going. Living in New York City, commuting to Stamford, Connecticut (on the 5:55am train!) and not getting home until 8 o’clock most nights, I had no time to take care of my home, or spend any time reducing my stress. I felt like I was being pulled in a million different directions between work and family obligations. So I had to develop a routine that turned into a system for getting things done. This blog is all about how I’ve found simplicity in my own life.
I now live in Hartford, Connecticut where I work for a large financial institution and decided to develop The Sorted System as a way to help other people fund balance and simplicity.
